William (Bill’s) professional insurance career began after graduating from Boise State University in 1968. He worked as an underwriter and marketing representative for Industrial Indemnity, and then joined Henry-Rust & Co. in 1974.

In 1986, after nearly two decades in the industry, Bill started Post Insurance to meet a growing need in the insurance industry for surety expertise specific to Idaho’s growing construction industry. Today Post Insurance has the privilege of working with some of Idaho’s and the region’s largest utility contractors, manufactures, general contractors, street and road contractors, trucking companies, hotel chains, and the pleasure of providing Idahoans exceptional service and personal lines insurance

In 1995 Bill received the National Associated Director’s Presidents Award, making him the only non-contractor to ever receive prestigious AGC “SIR” award. He has also been an active member of the Associated General Contractors since 1974, and in that time he has served on many committees including the Workers Compensation Committee and the Safety Committee. Although Bill retired in 2012, he continues to stay active with a few of his longstanding clients and works closely with the current ownership in a consultation capacity.

Andrew started his insurance career in 2006 at Premier Insurance as a commercial insurance agent where he focused on finding business owners the best property and casualty policy available. After honing his skills, Andrew joined Post Insurance in 2010 as a Commercial Agent and since then he has earned the reputation of being one of the most knowledgeable and personable commercial agents in the Treasure Valley.

Certified by The National Alliance of Insurance Education and Research Andrew is able to sell insurance lines including property, liability, auto fleet, and workers compensation. The certification gives him the ability to specialize in a variety of account types and sizes relating to industries such as manufacturing, wholesale, retail, hospitality, and technology.

In 2018, after eight years of building his book of business and reputation as one of the valley’s most respected agents, Andrew became Post Insurance’s President and co-owners with Patrick, Mary, and Ty.

After graduating from Lewis-Clark State College with a bachelor’s degree in business management and minors in marketing and communication, Patrick earned his insurance licenses in life, disability, property, casualty, and began his career at Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho. After two years selling personal lines and small commercial insurance, Patrick made the jump to large commercial insurance and joined Post Insurance in 2012.

In 2013 Patrick began selling group health insurance policies and has since established himself as Post Insurance’s expert group health insurance agent and earned a reputation with clients as dedicated and committed to finding the best policy for employers and their employees.

After six years as a commercial insurance agent at Post Insurance, Patrick was promoted to Chief Financial Officer and co-owner alongside business partners, Andrew, Mary, and Ty.

Surety Service Agent/Office Manager

Mary began her insurance career in 1989 with State Farm Insurance, and in 1995 she joined Post Insurance as a personal and commercial insurance agent. After 12 years at Post Insurance, she was promoted to Office Manager and Surety Service Agent. In addition to her roles as office manager and assisting with surety bonds, Mary also works as the technology coordinator to ensure Post Insurance’s computer and phone systems are up to date. After more than 20 years at Post Insurance, Mary is the company’s longest standing employee.

In 2018, after 23 years of dedicated service, Mary became co-owners and business partners alongside Andrew, Patrick, and Ty.

Chief Operating Officer

Steve joined Post Insurance in 2023 as the Chief Operating Officer and brings with him two decades of experience as a growth architect with a laser focus on managing largescale day-to-day operations and expansion. In his early career Steve took a position as a Congressional Staffer and then decided to run for office where he was elected as Mayor of Coeur d’Alene in 1998 at the age of 27. During his time in office, Steve’s “desire to serve” transitioned from politics to healthcare. In 2004 he took a position at Primary Health Medical Group as an administrator and quickly rose to the position of Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure at Primary Health, he helped facilitate their growth from 12 to 22 locations and from $20 million to almost $120 million in annual revenue. With this experience Steve has provided invaluable insight, expertise, and demonstrated a keen ability to foster a collaborative team environment at Post Insurance.

Steve holds a degree in Political Science and History from Gonzaga University. In his free time Steve loves to hang out with his high school sweetheart and their sons. As a native Idahoan, Steve enjoys spending time outdoors, especially on the golf course or relaxing by the pool.

Brian Trumble graduated from Idaho State University in 1992 with a bachelor’s in business finance. After graduating, Brian began his insurance career with Farm Bureau Insurance and has since spent more than 25 years in the industry. In 2016 Brian joined Post Insurance as a Personal and Commercial Insurance Agent.

While Brian is licensed to sell both commercial and personal lines of insurance, his expertise and passion is building one-on-one relationships with individuals and families shopping for personal lines of insurance including home, auto, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, and excess liability. Brian’s passion for traditional, meaningful relationships, and his genuine compassion for the needs of people are what make him an exceptional resource for those looking for personal lines of insurance.

Idaho native, Ty, earned his associates degree from Weber State University and then his bachelor’s degree in general business from Boise State University (BSU) where he excelled as a collegiate golfer.  After graduating in 2015, Ty spent two years touring the county as a professional golfer and earned a spot on PGA Tour Canada.

Ty earned his insurance licenses in property, causality, life, and health/disability at the end of 2017 and joined Post Insurance in January 2018 as a Commercial Insurance Agent. With his degree in general business, Ty is well equipped to understand the needs of businesses and ready to help owners find the right policies to protect their company.

Alyshia joined Post Insurance in 2014 as a Commercial Account Manager and brought with her more than 12 years of industry experience. With experience on both the carrier and broker sides of the insurance industry, Alyshia is well versed in meeting the needs of clients and underwriters. In 2015 Alyshia completed her disability and life license and was assigned the job of managing the agency’s growing group health book.

Alyshia also holds a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Phoenix and earned her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2012.

Idaho Native, Kylie graduated from Borah High School and then attended the College of Western Idaho where she earned her associates degree in criminal justice in 2017. After graduating, Kylie started her professional career as an Assistant Account Manager at Post Insurance in September 2017. As an Assistant Account Manager, Kylie supports the needs of Post Insurance’s large commercial clients.

In 2018, four months after joining the Post Insurance team, Kylie earned her insurance licenses in property and casualty. Kylie’s positive attitude and strong work ethic make Kylie a key part of the Post Insurance team.

Mary joined Post insurance in September 2020 and brings with her 17 years of industry experience in underwriting for General Fire & Casualty/Farmers & Ranchers of Oklahoma and managing captives and large accounts for ISU Cunnington & Associates.  Mary holds her property and casualty license and has spent her career specializing in underwriting for Idaho-based agribusinesses and managing the unique needs Captives and other large accounts.

Since starting at Post Insurance, Mary has already proved herself an indispensable team member who delivers consistent and timely results to agents, clients, and carriers. When she isn’t working, Mary enjoys watching a good movie, reading, and spending time in Idaho’s great outdoors.

Idaho native, Zach Bird, started his insurance career at Farm Bureau Insurance in 2013. After seven years in the personal lines industry, Zach transitioned to commercial coverage and joined Post Insurance in January 2021.  Zach holds his property, casualty, life, and health insurance licenses and he has spent his career focused on delivering tailored coverage to meet individual client needs – a skill that makes him an asset to Post Insurance.

A recent transplant to Idaho, Sam joined the Post Insurance team in 2021 as an Assistant Commercial Account Manager. He comes to us with a background in commercial construction where he spent seven years developing a robust skill set focused on public procurement, scheduling, site development analysis, resource management, logistics, design review, and contract negotiations. His experience as a project manager has afforded him numerous tools that have led to his success.

In his spare time he enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, and traveling.

After studying biology at the University of Colorado-Denver, Melissa traveled the world courtesy of the United States Air Force. She settled down in Boise in 2019 and joined Post Insurance in September 2021. She brings with her more than 20 years of industry experience working at Safeco, USAA, and American Family. Melissa holds her property and casualty license as well as her life insurance license. Melissa’s experience as both a customer service representative and a producer make her an asset to the team and to the clients she serves.

In her free time Melissa enjoys traveling, hiking with her dog, camping with family, and the occasional Netflix series binge.

Matthew joined Post Insurance in September 2021 as a Claims Coordinator/Liaison and brings with him nearly a decade of experience in technical and customer support. His broad range of experience in customer care makes him a valuable resource to Post Insurance and he hopes to one day earn his property and casualty license.

Matthew is an Idaho native and a country boy at heart – he spent his childhood on a tree farm in Caldwell and hopes to one day move back to the country. When he isn’t working, he enjoys hanging with friends and family, shooting, hiking, biking, and riding scooters.

Kristin joined Post Insurance in September 2022 as an Employee Benefits Specialists and brings with her extensive experience specializing in level-funded health plans and small business benefits.  Kristin holds her Idaho resident producer licenses for accident, health, and life insurance.

Originally from Western Oregon, Kristin and her husband visited Idaho in 2015 and fell in love. By 2016 they moved to Treasure Valley and haven’t looked back. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, kids, and dogs on the family farm where they raise goats and chickens. She loves being outside hunting, hiking, fishing, and so many other outdoor activities.

Brandt joined the Post Insurance team in March 2022 as an Assistant Commercial Account Manager and brings with him a background in healthcare administration, customer service, and IT support which makes him a valuable resource to Post Insurance and clients. Brandt is a born-and-raised Idahoan and in his free time he enjoys getting outside for a good hike or nature walk, swimming, paddleboarding, and canoeing. He is also a foodie who enjoys cooking and trying new foods.

Idaho native, Cori, joined the Post Insurance team in October 2022 as a Personal Lines Producer and Account Manager. Prior to insurance, Cori worked at Hayden Beverage as the youngest and first female Red Bull Sales Representative at Hayden. Cori joined the Post Insurance team with her property and casualty license and has since gained her flood certification. Cori’s enthusiasm, energy and love for people make her a valuable and positive addition to the team.

During her free time, Cori plays professional Women’s Ultimate Frisbee. When she’s not selling insurance or being an athlete, she enjoys sharing time with friends, family, tending to her plants, and spending as much time as possible outdoors and with her dog.

Levi joined Post Insurance in January 2024 as an Account Manager. He holds a degree in finance from the University of Utah and brings with him five years of experience in commercial underwriting. His background in finance and underwriting combined with his designation as a specialist in transportation and risk makes Levi is great addition to the account management team at Post Insurance.

Megan joined Post Insurance in July 2023 as an account manager. Originally from Idaho, Megan moved to Texas in 2021 where she became a licensed dental assistant. During her time as a dental assistant Megan became an expert in dental insurance and in 2023, she moved back to Idaho where she earned her property and casualty license and started her career in insurance.

In her free time Megan enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and digging into a good novel.

Taylor joined Post Insurance in August 2023 as an Account Manager, Small Group Health. Taylor graduated valedictorian from Bishiop Kelly High School and then went on to earn his bachelors in kinesiology from Northwest Nazarene University. After graduating, Taylor spent five years working in the local golf community as a tournament director and an assistant golf professional where he honed his communication skills and the ability to coordinate many moving parts successfully. In 2022, Taylor transitioned into the role of executive recruiter at Quest Groups in Boise and then as a sales executive at SpotOn before coming to Post Insurance.

Since joining Post Insurance, Taylor has earned his life and health license and is working toward earning his property and casualty license. Taylor loves spending his free time hunting and golfing. When he isn’t outside, his favorite thing to do is read and spend time with his wife and family.

Account Manager

Anna came to Post Insurance in July 2023 and joined the team as an Account Manager. Anna has her bachelor’s in education and spent 16 years in early education before making the change to commercial insurance. She holds her license in property, casualty, and flood insurance.

As a Boisean, born and raised, you’ll often find Anna roller skating the greenbelt and enjoying as much time outdoors with her family as she can.

Robin’s attention to detail and wide range of skills has made her a valuable resource to Post Insurance and clients alike.

In her down time Robin enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and playing fetch with her dogs. She loves gaining new insights and you will often find her reading a book or listening to a podcast, frequently about philosophy or health.  She also has fun cooking and likes to kick off her shoes and enjoy the cool, summer grass.
